- Job Seekers Roadshow : The National JobSeekers Road show is designed to assist the thousands of jobseekers throughout Ireland. This is a free event which will be visiting locations in Dublin, Cork, Belfast, Galway, Kilkenny, Waterford, Limerick, Sligo and Mullingar from the 23rd to the 30th of April 2012.

- Springboard - Free 3rd level courses to assist job seekers transfer skill sets and improve employment possibilities.
Springboard offers job seekers the option to take up a part time course in higher education and training , free of charge. Over 200 courses are available and they are designed to meet current and future skills needs in Ireland. You need to be unemployed for at least 6 months to be eligible.The majority of the courses start in September and applications are due shortly. - Government Intership Programme - The Government have launched a new National Internship Programme where graduates or unemployed people will have a chance to get a 6 or 9 month placement with a company - keep their Social Welfare payments and get a €50 euro a week top up
