This is a special year for Castle Golf Club as it is the Centenary Year for the Club.

The Castle All Ireland Father & Son Foursomes competition will be held this year in the second week of July. Qualifying will take place on an 18-holes strokes format on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th July. The Cost of entry is €70 per pair.

It is the 53rd year of the event and it is expected that this year’s event will attract over 500 hopefuls on the two qualifying days, representing over 100 different clubs. 64 pairs will qualify for the match-play stages of the event, which will run from Monday 8th July until the Final on Sunday 14th July.

Last year’s winners were Gerry & Robert Moran of Castle Golf Club. The 2012 event was a huge success with competitors experiencing the tremendous Castle welcome that is enjoyed throughout the week by all participants.
