Bridge

Bridge has been played in the Castle Golf Club since the 1920s.

Castle Golf Club has a thriving bridge section. There are currently 140 Castle Bridge players, of whom 70 play every Monday night between September and May.

All adult members of Castle Golf Club and their spouses are welcome to play bridge in the club.

Castle players regularly feature in national bridge competitions.
Castle currently has 10 master players (equivalent to scratch handicap golfers).

There are three competitions every Monday night
—one for players who want to play a lot of bridge hands, another for players who want to play a comfortable number of bridge hands, and the third for players who are new to bridge or who are returning to the bridge table.

There is an active WhatsApp group to keep players updated and to enable players to find playing partners.

You can find up-to-date information about Castle Bridge Section at www.bridgewebs.com/castlegc or by emailing [email protected].
