Dress Code

Neat casual wear is required on the golf course and in the clubhouse at all times.
N. B. for significant social events including Captain’s Dinner, Lady Captain’s Dinner and President’s Dinner, business casual wear is required.
 
On the golf course and in the clubhouse the following are disallowed:
  • Torn or stained clothing                                                  
  • Leisure Suits
  • Track Suits
  • Runners
  • Trainers
  • Bermuda shorts (mid-calf)
  • Athletic and exercise shorts
  • Shorts with combat pockets
  • Trousers with combat pockets
  • Sandals/flip-flops
Sleeveless/collarless shirts and vests are also disallowed for men.
Golf caps and visors must always have the peak facing forward.
Appropriate footwear and socks are required on the golf course and in the clubhouse.
Golf hats are disallowed in the clubhouse.
Denim may be worn in the clubhouse but only if it is neat and clean, but never on the golf course.

​Club management and staff are empowered to inform members, their guests and visitors of the dress code.

Established in 1913 Castle Golf Club is one of the finest park land courses in Ireland and one of the oldest clubs in the Greater Dublin area.
